A clash between groups at Ballah junction in Eyenkorin, Asa Local Government Area in Kwara State has left an unconfirmed number of persons dead. According to the Daily Post, the clash had been ongoing since Monday night and continued into Tuesday morning.
The Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, confirmed the incident and stated that mobile policemen and tactical units had been deployed to the scene of the violence. He assured that the security personnel were on the ground to manage the situation.
