Ekiti State Launches Free Healthcare Program for Retirees

The Ekiti State Government has announced the launch of a free healthcare program designed to benefit over 19,000 retirees.

Dr. Oyebanji Filani, the state Commissioner for Health and Human Services, made this announcement in a statement released via the official state government platform on Thursday.

According to the statement, “More than 19,000 pensioners who have previously served in the State and Local Government Public Services will now have access to free healthcare services through the State Insurance Scheme.

The introduction of this new initiative was revealed by Dr. Oyebanji Filani #okeanaye, the state Commissioner for Health and Human Services, during a meeting held at the Pensioners’ Secretariat in Ado-Ekiti.”
