The release of 313 terrorism suspects to the Borno government was ordered by the Federal High Court sitting in Maiduguri.
This decision came after the suspects were detained based on suspicion, but no evidence was found against them after investigation. The suspects were then handed over to the Borno State Government for further action.
Regarding the success of Operation Hadin Kai against Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists, troops recorded significant achievements, including the neutralization of 52 terrorists, the arrest of 137 individuals, and the rescue of 78 kidnapped hostages in the Northeast during the reviewed week.
Terrorists’ commanders and combatants surrendered to troops in various locations within Borno and Adamawa States.
