Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected Hamas’s proposed ceasefire terms, stating that “total victory” in Gaza is achievable within months.
This comes after Hamas laid out a series of demands in response to an Israel-backed ceasefire.
Netanyahu described the negotiations with Hamas as “not going anywhere” and referred to their terms as “delusional.” Despite this, talks are continuing, with a new round of negotiations expected to take place in Cairo.
