The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has paraded 39 suspected criminals arrested for various crimes in the nation’s capital. The arrests were made by the Joint Task Force, Operation Save F.C.T, recently launched by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
Among the suspects, eight were involved in a ‘one chance’ syndicate. The police impounded 54 vehicles and recovered locally fabricated guns, a locally made Beretta pistol, a double barrel revolver gun with live cartridges, as well as cannabis sativa and illicit drugs.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Haruna G. Garba, emphasized the importance of collaborative policing with citizens in enhancing public safety.
