The Plateau State Police Command has apprehended two medical doctors in connection with the alleged illegal harvesting of vital human organs by Noah Kekere, a suspected quack doctor.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Alabo Alfred, confirmed this development to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN in Jos.
The arrested doctors, along with Kekere, are currently in police custody undergoing investigation. Kekere, who is suspected of practicing without a valid medical license, was initially arrested after accusations surfaced regarding the unauthorized removal of a woman’s kidney during surgery.
The Plateau Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) distanced itself from Kekere, asserting that investigations had revealed he was not a licensed medical doctor.
