The ICRC has reported that 24,000 families are searching for their missing loved ones in Nigeria, with 16,000 of those families still looking for relatives displaced by the 14-year insurgency in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe states.
To help with the search, the ICRC has launched a Radio Name-Tracing Programme (RTP) and has a toll-free phone number for families to use.
The ICRC aims to link 3,000 missing persons during the conflict in the Northeast.
