The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has sent officials to monitor traffic around petrol stations due to increasing queues.
They have also warned drivers not to cause traffic congestion while queuing for petrol.
The General Manager of LASTMA explained that the deployment was necessary because of reports of long queues causing indiscriminate parking and blocking roads.
He emphasized that buying fuel should not be a reason to block traffic flow in the state.
