The trial of Prof Dibu Ojerinde, a former Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has been adjourned until June 20th by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This is to allow the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offenses Commission to prepare better for the trial.
Ojerinde has been charged with diverting public funds amounting to N5bn during his tenure, but he has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Recalling, Ojerinde was previously admitted to bail but was re-arrested by ICPC operatives on January 26 on the court premises.
