Brigadier General Sani Ahmed, Commander of 1 Brigade, Nigerian Army, who serves as Sector 1 Joint Task Force, North West Operation Hadarin Daji, has appealed for continued coordination among security agencies in the continuing war against banditry in Zamfara State.
He claims that increased cooperative training among state security agencies will foster better understanding and comradeship among security personnel.
Brig. General Sani Ahmed revealed this during a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigerian Air Force’s 207 Rapid Reaction Group, Gusau, Group Captain Stephen Paul Sekegor, and the Commissioner of Police Zamfara.
He claims that the pursuit of synergy in dealing with security concerns is part of the Chief of Army Staff’s vision of joint operations.

General Sani applauds the Nigerian Police for their ongoing efforts to combat banditry and other crimes and guarantees that the Nigerian Army is always ready to provide the necessary support to the Nigerian Police as established in the Nigerian Constitution.
He stated that with unity, teamwork, and synergy, the region’s insecurity would be a thing of the past.
