On Tuesday, April 11, a trailer loaded with powdered milk rammed into a mosque on Biba road in Suleja, Niger State, trapping at least three people inside.
According to reports, the worshippers had completed their morning prayers and were on their way out when the trailer slammed into the mosque. The trailer was attempting to negotiate a narrow section of road blocked by a sand heap being used for construction of new shops when it collid4ed with the mosque.
Three people, including a child, were trapped in the ruins and suffered injuries as a result.
Fortunately, no one was killed in the incident. The injured people were taken to the hospital and are being treated.
