The Ondo State House of Assembly has called on the Federal Government, United Nations, World Bank, and Niger Delta Development Commission to assist in preventing the coastal community of Ayetoro from being destroyed by the Atlantic Ocean.
The community has lost more than half of its land to ocean surge, leaving many residents homeless.
The Assembly has requested that modern technology be deployed to help save Ayetoro and other affected communities in the area.
