The National Population Commission (NPC) has postponed the training for Enumerators and Supervisors indefinitely.
Remember that the NPC training was previously scheduled for April 13.
Dr Ipalibo Harry, Chairman of the Census Committee, revealed this to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.
However, here is some key information about the training’s postponement. The census will not be affected by the postponement.
Henry assured that the postponement would have no impact on the Population and Housing Census, which was scheduled to take place from May 3 to May 7.
He stated that the commission was prepaid to conduct a credible census and that training for Quality Data Managers and others had already been completed.
The census committee chairman announced that a new date for enumerator and supervisors training would be communicated as soon as possible.
