The Oguta High Court located in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State was on Sunday night bombed by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
It was gathered that the gunmen arrived at the court premises at about 11.30 pm with explosions and shooting sporadically.
The Magistrate court registry, appeal court record office, file room secretary to the high court judge office, the high court bailiff office, and the high court judge chamber were all razed during the attack.
This incident is coming days after Nnaemeka Ugboma, a customary court judge in the same Oguta LGA, was shot dead by hoodlums during a court session.
Confirming the incidents, the Sole Administrator of the Oguta LGA, Ofili Ijioma, said that the arson had been reported to security agents.
The state police public relations officer, Henry Okoye could not be reached for comment.
