The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal will on Friday, January 27, 2023, deliver judgement in the suit filed by former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola challenging the election of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Parties involved in the suit confirmed the tribunal communicated the date to them on Tuesday, January 24th 2023.
The Secretary to the tribunal, David Mike, confirmed the development in a notice sent to the parties.
Recalling, Oyetola had filed a petition at the tribunal challenging the declaration of Adeleke, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the election after having been defeated in the July 16, 2022, gubernatorial election.
