The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has ruled out the bids of some forfeited houses and landed properties over what it reported as “failure to match the reserve price or for violation of the guidelines”.
It was reported that the sealed bidding exercise which started late last year kickoff its physical aspect on Monday, January 9th,2023 at the premises of the National Open University, Jabi Abuja close to the commission’s Headquarters.
In a statement to news reporters during the exercise, the secretary of the commission, George Ekpungu, disclosed the threshold for the bidding.
At the finish of the exercise, the spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, stated that “there was no successful bidder from any of the Lot 1 to 3”.
Ekpungu, however, announce the extension of the bidding exercise till Friday, January 13th, 2023.
