The families of four newborn babies have been thrown into mourning after the babies died due to alleged negligence on the part of the doctor on duty at the Sapele Central Hospital, in the Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The victims’ families alleged that the doctor on duty was found drunk, adding that there was no power supply in the hospital.
They also protested at the premises of the hospital.
As of the time of filing this report the hospital management, government and security authorities were yet to address the incident.
