Students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, and some town youths staged a protest in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
It was gathered that alleged killing of the LAUTECH Final year student, Rachael Opadele, and the hotelier, Olugbenga Owolabi sparked the protest.
The two victims were abducted on Thursday night at the hotel located in the Abaa community in Surulere Local Government Area.
Although there is no confirmation about the killing from the police yet, sources close to the student’s family disclosed that the two of them were shot dead after the kidnappers had collected a N5m ransom.
