The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Thursday, dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State from participating in the upcoming governorship election in the state as candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The court, in a judgement that was delivered by Justice Inyang Ekwo, held that the suit lacked merit and deserved to be dismissed.
APC chieftain, Moshood Adeoti, one of the aspirants who lost the APC governorship ticket to governor Oyetola, had filed the matter through his legal team led by Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chiesonu Okpoko.
