The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, has emerged the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The governor won the re-election ticket after scoring 663 votes out of the 668 accredited votes.
The Chairman of the PDP Governorship Primaries committee, Barr. Gavin Katabs, announced the result, noting that five votes were invalidated.
Fintiri was speaker of Adamawa assembly before he was elected governor in 2019.
