About 11 soldiers were feared killed and 19 others injured by suspected terrorists in a military base at Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
It was gathered that a large number of suspected bandits on motorcycles invaded a military base at Pole wire village on Monday, where they engaged the soldiers in a fierce battle.
A source, whose brother was among those killed, said “Some of the bandits were carrying Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG).
They engaged the soldiers for about 2 hours.”
It was also gathered that the terrorists burnt down 3 Armoured Personnel Carriers.
