Unknown persons on Thursday, stormed the gubernatorial campaign office of Senator Barau Jibrin located along Maiduguri Road, Kano metropolis and vandalized the building.
An eyewitness said the armed thugs numbering over 1,000 arrived at the office, vandalized it and attempted to set it ablaze.
However, it was learnt that armed policemen have taken over the residence of the senator located along Ibrahim Dabo road, Nasarawa GRA to forestall any further breakdown of law and order.
At the time of filing this report, the reason for the attack is yet to be known.
