Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, the wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church, passed away on Tuesday after battling Cancer for two years.
The Church announced her passage on Twitter on Tuesday.
The tweet read, “With deep regret and gratitude to God, we have to announce the passing of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
“She battled cancer for the better part of 2 years, she stood on the word of God and fought,” the church announced on Twitter on Tuesday evening.
“We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight the will of God. The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye.
“So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbly Pastor Nomthi.”
President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with Pastor Odukoya over the loss of his wife.
In a condolence message by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday in Abuja, the President also condoled with the Christendom in general over the unfortunate passage.
Buhari, who prayed God’s comfort and succor for Odukoya, described the passage as “sad and quite touching.”
