The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has inaugurated the Governing Council of the Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic in Lafia.
The institution is headed by the Emir of Karshi, Sani Bako.
Speaking on Friday in Lafia during the inauguration ceremony, the governor congratulated the Emir of Karshi on his re-appointment as Chairman of the institution’s governing body and charged him and other members of the council to put in their best to move the polytechnic to greater heights.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Justina Kotso, in her remark, thanked the Governor, who is also the Visitor of the school, for always giving the institution the needed support whenever he’s called upon.
She said, “We are truly grateful to His Royal Highness and the outgoing council members for their time and energy towards charting a purposeful trajectory for the growth of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic as an enviable institution in the comity of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in the country”.
