Nigeria recorded 290 new cases of the coronavirus, including 19 new deaths on Thursday.
This has brought the total number of infections recorded in the country since the outbreak to 207,210 and total number of fatalities to 2,742.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) gave the update on its official website on Thursday.
Data from the disease centre shows that the additional 290 new infections were confirmed on Thursday across 14 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The NCDC did not give update on the pandemic on Wednesday and failed to give reasons.
Meanwhile, the new data also indicates that while 194,796 have been discharged, 9,629 are still down with the disease nationwide.
