Gunmen have attacked and killed three persons in Hukke village of Miango in Irigwe chiefdom, Bassa Local Government area of Plateau state.
Three other persons reportedly sustained gunshot injuries during the deadly attack that occurred early Monday morning.
The Secretary-General of Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Danjuma Auta, confirmed the incident in a statement on Monday.
He identified the deceased as: Barry Ive (42), Isaiah Gado (45) and Weyi Chohu (40).
Auta also identified those injured in the attack as Bosco Gbere (50); Barnabas Lundi (20); and Moses Bombo (28).
