Gunmen stormed St. Albert the Great Seminary School, Fayit, Fadan Kagoma Chiefdom in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducted some seminarians.
A source from the community said the kidnappers stormed the college around 10pm on Monday, shooting sporadically.
He said, “They abducted some seminarians whose whereabout is still unknown.”
The Kaduna Police Command confirmed the attack on the seminary, which belongs to the Catholic Church in Southern Kaduna, on Tuesday.
The Spokesman of the Kaduna Police Command, ASP Muhammad Jalige, said operatives of the Police Tactical Team in Jema’a have visited the school to confirm the number of missing students and to address the situation.
