Buhari-Must-Go protesters stormed the Dantata Bridge on the popular Airport Road in Abuja early Friday morning, demanding the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
This is as the country marks its 61st Independence Anniversary today, October 1.
The protesters, who came out in numbers, carried large banners and made bonfires on the highway.
It was gathered that a few minutes after the protest kicked off, heavily armed policemen arrived at the protest venue to disperse the protesters.
The policemen were said to have fired tear gas canisters while chasing the protesters.
