Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting at the State House on Wednesday in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, who travelled to London last week.
The FEC meeting had in attendance some ministers, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari; Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; and Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, while others joined the meeting from their respective offices.
Recall that Buhari left the country for the UK for a Global Education Summit and routine medical checkup.
He is expected back in the country mid-August.
