The son of a former National Secretary of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Adewunmi Alayaki, has been abducted by suspected gunmen in Ogun State.
Adedamola Alayaki was kidnapped by unknown gunmen, who later demanded the sum of N20million as ransom to free the victim.
It was gathered that Adedamola was abducted from this father’s farm at Isaga-Orile community, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The incident was confirmed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Thursday in Abeokuta.
The police said they were on the trail of the abductors.
Oyeyemi said, “We are on top of the situation. Our men are on the trail of the gunmen.”
