President Muhammadu Buhari will meet with security chiefs at the State House in Abuja on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
Buhari will be briefed on the security challenges plaguing the country at the coming meeting.
This was contained in a press statement released by the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Tuesday.
The statement disclosed President Buhari will be updated on developments during the Thursday meeting, while plans to bring a decisive end to the challenges will be formulated.
Recall that Buhari returned to the country on Friday after spending about two weeks in the UK, during which he attended the Global Education Summit and did health checks.
Also, security forces have, in the past few weeks, taken the battle against insecurity more robustly as insurgents, bandits, and all other criminals troubling the country are now surrendering in their numbers.
