Two students of Bethel Baptist High School in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna state, who were abducted by bandits on July 6, have regained freedom.
The two students were among the 121 victims abducted from the school premises by the gunmen, who are currently demanding N60 million as ransom.
They were rescued in Rijanna area of the state, along the Kaduna-Abuja highway, on Wednesday evening.
Confirming this, the spokesperson of the Kaduna state police command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said the students have been taken to a police facility for medical examination.
Recall that last week, one student of the school was found in the bush, while more than 100 are still in captivity.
