President Muhammadu Buhari has received the newly sworn-in President of Niger Republic, Mohamed Bazoum, at the State House in Abuja.
The Presidency revealed this on Monday in a video shared on Twitter showing the moment both Presidents met at the State House.
The video was captioned, “Arrival of the recently sworn-in President of Niger Republic, Mohamed Bazoum, at the State House. He’s welcomed by President @MBuhari.”
The Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, said those who were also present during the Nigerien President’s visit include; the Governor of Kebbi, Abubakar Bagudu, Governor of Borno, Babagana Zulum, Governor of Sokoto, Aminu Tambauwal, Governor of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni and Governor of Zamfara, Bello Matawalle.
