The Federal Government has ordered the immediate resumption of catering services in domestic flights, which was earlier suspended as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, during the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja on Monday.
Sirika said the decision was taken in consideration of businesses dealing with the provision of in-flight refreshments that have been affected negatively by the suspension.
In a statement issued by James Odaudu, the aviation ministry’s Director, Public Affairs, the minister noted that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority would work out modalities and protocols for the resumption of the services.
