Gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked Ruwan Tofa village in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, and abducted over 70 people, including nursing mothers and children.
According to SaharaReporters, the armed men invaded the community on motorcycles on Wednesday shooting indiscriminately.
This incident happened a few days after gunmen attacked Sabuwar Tunga community and killed about 40 persons.
In the recent attack, houses and vehicles belonging to villagers were reportedly destroyed and burnt, foodstuffs and valuables were carted away by the bandits.
