A group of Nigerian leaders from the South-East geopolitical zone, under the aegis of the Igbo Leadership Development Foundation, has threatened to mobilize their people to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if it fails to zone the 2023 presidency to the South-East region.
The group made their intention known in a statement read to news men in Abuja on Thursday by its Director of Public Affairs, Dr. Law Mefor.
The group also swore to take legal action against the PDP if it failed to stick to its constitution which allows for a rotational presidency.
