The Federal Government has announced the extension of the ongoing National Identification Number (NIN) and Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) linkage by two months (8 weeks).
The new deadline is now April 6, 2021.
The extension was disclosed by the Director of Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission, Ikechukwu Adinde.
He said the development was communicated by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, during the meeting of the Ministerial Taskforce on NIN-SIM registration which took place on Monday, February 1, 2021.
