The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has revealed that the latest results of his COVID-19 test samples returned negative.
He made this known while addressing newsmen at the new banquet hall of the Government House in Makurdi on Wednesday.
This news comes days after the Chief Press Secretary of Benue State, Terver Akase disclosed that the governor tested positive for COVID-19.
Ortom thanked his deputy, Benson Abounu, the people of Benue state and his friends for their support and prayers during the period.
He also urged the people of the state to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 guidelines.
