The All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the Peoples Democratic Party’s 16 years in government as a disaster and misadventure, following a statement by the PDP, claiming Nigerians want them back in power.
The PDP National Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, had said Nigerians were fed up with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, as well as the APC, and that Nigerians were relying on the PDP platform to rescue the nation from misrule.
However, reacting to this, the National Secretary of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), John Udoedehe, stated that PDP’s 16 years was misrule.
He said, “It is our belief that Nigerians should be spared the trauma of a reminder of the disaster of PDP’s 16 years of misadventure in government.
“It should allow Nigerians to forgive it for the numerous transgressions and agony it had put Nigerians through many years of misrule which their National Chairman had rightly publicly apologized to Nigerians.”
