Former AGF, Abdullahi Ibrahim, dies of COVID-19

A former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abdullahi Ibrahim, has died of COVID-19 in an isolation center in Abuja.

This was revealed on Sunday by a top government official, who asked to be anonymous.

Ibrahim, who hails from Kogi State, was a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He served as the Minister of Transport and Aviation during the military regime of Muhammadu Buhari.

He also served as the Minister of Education, Science and Technology before his appointment as the Attorney-General of the Federation.
