Don Davis’ Sexual Harassment Case: Police detain 4 DLHS Staff, 74-year-Old Doctor

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has detained a 74-year-old medical practitioner, Effiong Udiminue, and four staff of the Deeper Life High School, Idoro Uyo, over the Molestation and Maltreatment of Don Davis, a JSS1 student of the school.

The suspects were detained after a meeting at the state police headquarters in Uyo on Tuesday.

In a video shared on social media, Deborah Okezie, the mother of the Victim, narrated that Udiminue was arrested after he snuck into the hospital where her son was admitted and took his blood without the knowledge of the hospital management.

The retired medical practitioner, who currently runs his own private clinic called Ropheka De Epsardo Clinic in Uyo, the Vice Principal of DLHS, an administrative staff identified as Akpa and Nseabasi Joseph, the Boarding Master of the school’s Junior and Senior hostels, were detained by the police.

The state Commissioner of Police, Andrew Amiengheme, in a statement made available to newsmen in Uyo and signed by the police public relations officer, Odiko MacDon, assured Akwa Ibom people that investigations were ongoing and that no stone would be left untouched regarding the matter.
