A suspected robber was set ablaze while another was lynched to death after being tortured by angry youths along Agodi Government Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Sources reported that the two suspects allegedly robbed one businessman in his car at about 6:00pm on Wednesday around the Agodi Secretariat axis.
An eyewitness narrated that the alleged robbers were trailed by some youths to Agodi Secretariat after they robbed the victim of N5 million.
One of the robbers was said to be beaten mercilessly to death and left lying on the road, while the other was set on fire.
The witness added that men of Operation Burst, who were on their way for another operation, stopped at the scene of the incident before leaving.
