Fayose plots his next political and spiritual moves, says he may become Nigeria’s next president or a pastor

Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has stated that his next ambition in life is to become a pastor or Nigeria’s president.

He made this known during a live program which was aired on People’s FM 104.19 in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Earlier in the week.

The two-time governor stated that if Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari could become presidents then he is well qualified to become Nigeria’s president because of his popularity, courageous spirit, unique contributions in Ekiti State and other remarkable contributions which according to him, were enough credentials to make him become Nigeria’s president.

On being a pastor, he said that in his journey through life, God has been so kind to him and being a pastor will be a way to appreciate Him.

Fayose further narrated how some of his most dependable and trusted followers who he helped had either deserted him or teamed up with his political foes when they realized he was no longer in power.

He also appreciated his wife and his teeming supporters who have always stood by him through difficult times saying that his next move will be made public in no time.

The former governor spoke on his impeachment in 2006 on the allegation of mismanagement of state funds which he described as “backdoor arrangements” and how he came back as the governor of Ekiti State against all odds.
