With International Flights Resuming August 29, BA, Ethiopian Airlines, Others Release Flight Schedules

Following recent announcement by the Nigerian minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika that international flights would resume on the 29th of this month after several months of inactivity due to the coronavirus pandemic, major airlines flying into Nigeria from other parts of the world have revealed their flight schedules with Ethiopian Airlines taking the lead.

International flights will resume in Nigeria on August 29

The East African carrier will begin operations to and out of Nigeria on the 29th of August while British Airways (BA) flights will resume on the 1st of September.

Like BA, AirFrance/KLM, and African World Airlines flights will all also open its doors to passengers on the 1st of September.

Emirates will commence operations in Nigeria on the 2nd of September while Egypt Airways will kick things off on the 3rd of September.

Lufthansa and Turkish will begin on the 4th of September while Delta Airlines will resume on September 11.

Other airlines will commence operations at a date that will be communicated later.

The federal government had in March this year closed air travels as a way of containing the coronavirus pandemic.
