The former speaker of the house of representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and reunited with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mai Mala Buni, chairman of the caretaker committee of the party, announced this to state house correspondents after he and Dogara met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja this Friday.
Along with Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the former senate president and several others in both chambers of the National Assembly, Dogara dumped the APC in the build up to the 2019 general elections.
