Iran Plots Donald Trump’s Arrest Over The Killing of Qassem Soleimani

Following the January killing of its top military general, Qassem Soleimani, Iran has issued an arrest warrant and asked Interpol for help in detaining US President Donald Trump and dozens of others it accused of involvement Soleimani’s death in  in Baghdad.

Tehran prosecutor Ali Alqasimehr announced today that Trump, along with more than 30 others attacked and killed the controversial general on January 3, insisting that the individuals must now be brought to face “murder and terrorism charges.”

Alqasimehr did not identify anyone else sought other than Trump, but stressed Iran would continue to pursue his prosecution even after his presidency ends.

It is not certain if Interpol would be interested in heeding Iran’s call.
