Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has condemned the killing of a clergyman, Emmanuel Bileya and his wife Juliana at Donga local government of Taraba State.
The Pastor and his wife were reportedly killed in their farm by suspected militia.
In a statement by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan-Abu, Ishaku said he received the news of the murder with shock.
The statement read, “The killing of the pastor and his wife is wicked and inhuman.
“Killings of this nature have happened too often recently in Southern Taraba communities and this is unhelpful to the ongoing efforts of the government to achieve lasting peace among communities in the area.”
