President Muhammmadu Buhari, obviously dissatisfied with the appointments made by his late right-hand man without his knowledge is upturning approvals made by Abba Kyari having directed his new Chief of Staff Professor Ibrahim Gambari to do so. Several media reports have revealed.
One would have thought that the respect for Late Kyari would make Buhari rescind his decision but evidently the reverse appears to be the case at the moment.
Uncertainty also lurks in at Ministerial and various Parastatals as one is not sure who will be affected Since the grounds upon which some got their appointment is shaky and Kyari is no longer behind them.
Newspapers sources say Buhari’s probe may result in an official cancellation of all appointments in various MDA’s. It is said that the reversal of all decisions made by Kyari may cause more harm than good.
Newspaper reports confirmed that the powers that be who instrumented the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Gambari may be responsible for the recent happenings, which has sent chills down the spines of many whose appointments didn’t get the express approval by the President.
It is speculated that over a hundred memos without the official permission and approval of Buhari have been fished out.
The spokesperson of the President, Femi Adesina declined to comment over the development.
As widely reported, the move may not be far from the internal wrangling perceived to have strained kyari’s relationship with some strong will appointees of the President including the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno.
