Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank says President Muhammadu Buhari’s led government has looted more than any other government in the World.
Frank, in a series of tweets on Saturday, said despite Buhari’s anti-corruption stance, his government is stinking with corruption and this could only be brought to the fore when he leaves the seat of power.
The Former APC Scribe, who was reacting to the scandal that trailed the distribution of palliatives to vulnerable Nigerians said Buhari should not be ranked amongst African leaders fighting corruption in the continent.
COVID-19: No Govt in the World has looted their country like Buhari's Govt. To them its Profit making. Corruption is stinking all over this Govt. By the time he leaves too, we would be shocked at what @MBuhari and his looting Cabal has done to this country. May GOD save Nigeria!

When you talk about individuals who are fighting against corruption in Africa, then u'll mention @PaulKagame of Rwanda & @MagufuliJP of Tanzania. @MBuhari has only been championing a corrupt course. This is the most corrupt Govt in the history of Nigeria, they're just shameless!

The Palliative Controversies
Since the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in Nigeria, the Federal government, through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management disclosed of plan to reach out to about 11 million vulnerable Nigerians through its cash transfer intervention programme.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar-Farouq had disclosed at a briefing that the disbursement was one of the measures authorised by President Muhammadu Buhari to help citizens cope with the fallout of coronavirus.
Umar Farouq had said 2.6 million vulnerable persons and 11 million households were penned down to benefit from the palliative measure.
On April 2nd, 2020, the Minister disbursed N20,000 under conditional cash transfer scheme to N5,000 beneficiaries in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. However, the distribution greeted with mixed-reactions as some questioned how the ministry arrived at identifying the beneficiaries.
The Leadership of the National Assembly also faulted the Federal Government over the implementation of the SIP saying it wasn’t backed with any enabling legislation in line with global best practices.
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan stated that the poorest of the poor were not captured in the programme and they need more attention now than before.
