Barely a week after the Corporate Office of the Accountant General of the Federation was gutted by fire, another Government building has recorded a fire accident.
Located at Maitama, the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission was engulfed by fire on Wednesday.
Eye witness accounts revealed that the last floor of the seven-storey building was most affected, with valuables and other items destroyed.
Men of the Federal Fire Service have arrived the building to put out the fire.
RootstvNigeria had last week reported the conspiracy of fire incidents in most government-owned buildings in Nigeria as many now believe that that they (incidents) were deliberately triggered to misplace records and hamper investigations of corrupt practices in government agencies.
